Make Up Manufacturing Facility
Ariel Laboratories is located at 31 Davis Street, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Our corporate offices, two laboratories, batching areas, and warehouse facilities comprise 25,000 sq. ft.
Ariel Laboratories is a GMP-audited make up manufacturing facility, offering on-site manufacturing for products representing most major cosmetics, including powders, pencils and lipsticks. Our laboratories operate with computer-controlled self-auditing to the highest level of GMP standards.
Manufacturing is rigorously monitored via computer controls throughout the entire process, and automated temperature controls ensure complete stability to the manufacturing environment.
Tracking is performed from the moment that raw materials enter our facility, throughout the manufacturing process, packaging, and on to distribution.
Our History
Ariel Laboratories, a Skincare and Color Cosmetics Manufacturer, began with Owner and founder Peter Bohm. Ariel Laboratories’ doors were first opened in 1987 in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, as Imperial Cosmetics Services. Mr. Bohm’s background extends back to his days at Lavin Charles of the Ritz (Yves Saint Laurent, Arpege, My Sin, Jean Nate’, Alexandra de Markoff & Hermes) in their Research & Development Laboratories. Ritz, which was owned by E.R Squibb at that time, operated at very high levels of sophistication in their laboratory and skincare, fragrance, and color cosmetics development and manufacturing practices, which helped set the standard for Mr. Bohm’s operations. The name was changed to Ariel Laboratories, and we have grown into a worldwide supplier of exclusive, high quality cosmetics and skin care products.
