Ariel Laboratories is staffed with seasoned chemists and technicians experienced in all phases of development. We have yet to be tasked with an unachievable product request. Research and Development

Ariel Laboratories is in a scientific industrial hub location that is heavily populated with the most innovative cosmetic raw material suppliers in the industry. We meet regularly with suppliers of materials ranging from rain forest extracts to advanced silicone technology, biological and botanical sources, to name a few. We also interface regularly with producers of innovative packaging and components particularly suitable for the delivery of color cosmetics, skin care and sun care products.

Quality Assurance

Ariel Laboratories functions under the guidelines of voluminous specification and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), which are updated annually to meet FDA rules for both Cosmetics and OTC (SPF) Products. They specify in detail how raw materials, packaging and all receiving of goods are to be handled, documented, and monitored.

Skin Care Products

Our Skin Care Laboratory philosophy in developing natural skin care is to make it as holistic as possible. Our products focus on protecting the surface of the skin by creating moisture barriers. This allows the skin to remain hydrated from within, minimizing the adverse effects caused by pollutants, sun and other harsh environmental elements. Ariel Laboratories access to the most functional raw materials combines with our advanced compounding technology to put us on the cutting edge of innovation.

Cleansers & Toners

Cream cleanser gel, duophase (bi-layer) sulfate-free, all natural cleansing water and non-alcoholic systems.

Cremes & Lotions

Innovative, textural and elegant endeavors is our focus. Employment of unique, active, and functional marketing specialty raw materials is our mission.

Microdermabrasion

These are carefully formulated with just the right materials and particle size, so as to not abrade and scar the skin yet remove the surface layers evenly and safely. They also can be formulated to work with cosmetic treatment devices.

Serums

These super-concentrated, low molecular weight systems deliver actives to areas that are considered ultra-needy and sensitive. Formulations can be biological, botanical concentrates either aqueous or non-aqueous.

Color Cosmetic Products

Color Cosmetics product development involves mineral and organic pigments of the highest quality ingredients, with many all-natural options also available. To guarantee consistency and quality, every one of Ariel Laboratories creations are facilitated using dermatological and scientific research that complies with industry standard Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP). As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest scientific and ethical standards, our products are never tested on animals.

Concealors

Pot, stick or long-lasting silicone types in click pens. In addition to formulas providing light coverage, all these systems may be formulated to yield very high coverage to deal with the most serious camouflage needs. These systems are ideal for both the consumer sector as well as post-operative and dermatological sectors.

Foundation Make-Up

Water Based and Silicone emulsions are the state-of-the-art systems that stay put while achieving skin perfection and yet allow your skin to feel natural and light. Soufflé and other types of systems are also available in all natural, hot pour and SPF foundation products.

Mascaras & Liners

A great deal of research over many years has yielded a variety of formulations, which will be a starting point for your approval. These formulas can be further embellished by the addition of functional material to meet your market claims.

Gel Liners & Shadows

These are the newest formulas off the bench. They yield vibrant black lines and luminous shadows composed with coated mineral pigments.

Sun Care Products

Ariel Laboratories has created a number of sun care products and has extensive experience in all types of products designed for tanning and surface protection.


Sun Care Products that contain an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) are considered pharmaceuticals by the FDA. The manufacturer must be properly licensed and registered, and every product needs to undergo specific quality assurance and assay tests.

Natural Sun Care Formulations

Natural or mineral sunscreen formulas use zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or a combination of the two to block the sun’s rays from our skin. These formulas typically involve natural and plant-sourced ingredients, as well as natural food-grade preservatives. All of our mineral formulas achieve a clear and dry touch feel. Our R&D team can develop custom, all-natural sunscreen formulas that comply with North American natural product standards.
